Elche CF already has 11,000 renewed season-ticket holders after the first in-person campaign day, with the Martínez Valero’s Animación Stand at 99% capacity. The club added 400 memberships in just 48 hours during in-person renewals, a figure set to surge this Thursday when the online process opens.

Why is the Animación Stand almost full?

The ‘Elche CF 1923’ Animación Stand at the south end of Martínez Valero has 755 seats. The club closed the first weekend of renewals with over 400 new and returning season-ticket holders, as confirmed by Elche CF on social media. Demand mirrors the growing franjiverde spirit, passed down even across generations: parents and children renew their memberships together.

The tally of 11,000 season tickets on the first in-person day -Monday, July 13, 2026- has already beaten early forecasts. The club, working with its peñas and sponsors, is bringing the campaign to towns like Rafal, Torrevieja and Novelda. In Novelda, the municipal stadium will host 1,200 seats donated by Elche, replacing the old ones in the lower ring of Martínez Valero.

Elche CF eyes a return to 27,000 season tickets

The club’s goal is to match last season’s 27,000 season tickets, a record for Elche CF in La Liga. While prices have risen, the club offsets this with measures such as scrapping two discounted matchdays. The Animación Stand’s high demand reflects the broader fan interest, with the team sitting 15th in La Liga on 43 points -51 behind Barcelona- after a record of 10 wins, 13 draws and 15 losses from 38 games.

Elche CF finished last season with 49 goals scored and 57 conceded, a balance the coaching staff aims to improve this term. The fans are responding in force: online renewals, available from Thursday, July 16, are expected to push current figures even higher. The club, which already topped 11,000 season tickets in a single day, is confident it can keep the momentum to reach its historic target.
