Elche CF made history in Vila-real by being crowned champions of the XXXIII Torneo Nacional Pamesa LaLiga FCFutures for the first time in its history. The Elche CF team concluded an unforgettable tournament with a great victory in the final against Real Madrid CF by 2-3, in a final day filled with emotion at the Pamesa Sports City. The day began with the semifinals. In the first, Elche CF again demonstrated its competitive character to overcome Sevilla FC by 1-2 and secure the first ticket to the grand final. After that, Real Madrid CF beat Real Betis Balompié, another of the big favorites, by 1-0 in a very balanced second semifinal, thus closing the card for the decisive match. Before the final, the match for third and fourth place was played, in which Sevilla FC and Real Betis Balompié drew 1-1. The Sevillian team ended up taking third place in the tournament after winning the penalty shootout in the great Sevillian derby. The final between Real Madrid and Elche responded to expectations. The white team took the lead at the beginning of the match, but Elche reacted before the break to equalize and open the way for a memorable comeback. In the second half, the Elche team scored two more authentic goals to put the 1-3 and get closer to the title. Denis, from Elche CF, was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the tournament; Álvaro, from Sevilla FC, received the Pichichi award; and Hugo and Joel, twin brothers from Real Madrid CF, were elected MVP of the championship, shared for the first time by a pair of brothers. In addition, the award for the best technical team was given to the one from Celta de Vigo. The XXXIII Torneo Nacional Pamesa LaLiga FCFutures once again demonstrated why it is one of the great appointments of national youth football.
