Elche CF promotes Pedro Bigas to captain

Elche CF will hold the traditional offering to the Virgin of the Assumption this Wednesday. The teams' most representative squads, along with technicians, executives, and fans, will attend the Basilica of Santa Maria to express their good wishes for the new season.

The captains of the first team, reserve team, and women's team will be in charge of accessing the Patron's chamber to ask for their good intentions for the new season. Pedro Bigas will debut as captain of Elche in this event, after having already worn the armband in some games.
