Elche CF has trained on Wednesday to prepare for the visit of Oviedo with the absences of goalkeeper Alejandro Iturbe, defender Adrià Pedrosa, and forward Álvaro Rodríguez. The goalkeeper, yet to play in the league, had permission from the club to miss the session, while the defender and forward stayed in the gym reducing their workload.
What will happen with the absences?
Unless there are complications during the week, the three will be available to coach Eder Sarabia for the match against Oviedo on Sunday, a theoretical direct rival for permanence.
Who returns to the team?
Marc Aguado and Germán Valera, two regular starters, have participated in the session, held at the Díez Iborra field in the Ciudad Deportiva, after missing the last match due to physical discomfort and illness, respectively.
What about Yago de Santiago?
The winger Yago de Santiago has also trained normally with the team, as he approaches his return after being operated on in February for a serious knee injury.
