Elche CF has signed Santiago Montiel, Puskas 2025 winner, after a spectacular goal in Argentina. The right winger of Independiente de Avellaneda beat Declan Rice and Lamine Yamal in the voting. Montiel will join the green entity as compensation for the debt that his current club maintains with Elche for the transfer of Iván Marcone. Montiel's goal is a true work of art, it occurred in the Argentine league, in a match against Independiente de Rivadavia.
