Elche CF have renewed their sponsorship agreement with CaixaBank, extending the partnership until the end of the 2026/2027 season. The deal, signed on Thursday at the Martínez Valero stadium, strengthens a collaboration that began in 2014 and has now lasted over a decade.
Club president Joaquín Buitrago and Olga García, CaixaBank's territorial director for the Valencian Community and Murcia region, put pen to paper on the extension. This agreement comes as the team battles near the bottom of the table.
The agreement goes beyond traditional sponsorship, incorporating a series of initiatives aimed at both fans and the squad itself. For supporters, personalised CaixaBank Visa contactless cards featuring Elche CF's colours and crest will be launched. There will also be fan lotteries, promotions via the club's official channels, and Meet & Greet events with first-team players.
For the players and coaching staff, the deal includes the organisation of financial education workshops. President Joaquín Buitrago said these actions will focus on aspects such as training and planning for managing savings and investment.
The banking entity's presence will remain visible at the Martínez Valero stadium, the training ground, and across all the club's official communication channels. Also, the sponsorship now expands to include Elche CF Genuine, the club's inclusive football team. CaixaBank customers will have access to hospitality packages at the stadium.
Olga García highlighted the entity's commitment to both grassroots and professional sport, noting that CaixaBank is the official bank for many clubs in the professional divisions. The renewal represents key institutional and financial support for the franjiverde project.
This backing arrives as the team searches for stability after a tough league start. The next home fixture is against Celta Vigo on October 11th, a key match to try and add points and improve their standings. Fans can check the full season schedule on our fixtures page.
