Elche CF has informed its squad of the start date for the 2026-2027 pre-season. Players will return to work on June 29. The sports commission has communicated this date, but it is subject to change due to the lack of a coach. The club hopes that the arrival of the coach will not be delayed too much and can be closed before the scheduled date. The Elche CF squad will have six weeks of preparation to face a second season in the elite of Spanish football. The current squad has 22 players with a contract to start the pre-season. In addition to the 17 players already in the squad from last season, Matia Barzic and Bambo Diaby, Rafa Núñez, Ali Houary and Abiel Osorio will join the team after their loan spells.
