Barcelona has registered Cancelo and its new signings, ready to debut in their upcoming match against Elche. Rodri, Adeyemi and Gordon are already registered, while Jesse Bisiwu must wait for his official registration.

Registration of signings

On Saturday, Cancelo appeared in LaLiga's registration, meaning all new signings of Barcelona will be available for Hansi Flick in the team's league debut tomorrow in Elche. In addition to Cancelo, Rodri, Adeyemi and Gordon were also registered. Bisiwu, who will have a reserve team registration, has not yet been officially registered due to bureaucratic issues, so he cannot play for the first team.

Rodri and Bisiwu situation

Rodri, who is following a specific plan, stayed at Barcelona and trained a little on the pitch on Saturday, but he is not registered for the match. Bisiwu, 18 years old, trained with the reserves alongside Ebrima Tunkara and Orian Goren, but his official registration is pending.

Financial impact and margin

The departures of Lewandowski, the non-renewal of Rashford and the transfers of Ansu Fati (€11 million to Monaco), Iñaki Peña (€3 million to Panathinaikos), Ferran Torres (€48.5 million to PSG) and Tommy Marqués (€11 million to Braga), plus the loan of Araújo to Liverpool with a €12 million fee, generate a €85 million margin. This margin is similar to what is expected from the four newly signed players.

The margin increases with the renewal of Andreas Christensen, after his previous fee was reduced by 50 %, whose new contract has also been registered. Additionally, revenue is generated from the sale of reserve players, such as Jofre Torrents (€6 million), and the loan of Ter Stegen to Ajax, which also creates space.

Revenue projection

Barcelona anticipates additional income of €60-70 million compared to the previous year, thanks to a full season at the new Camp Nou with 60,000 spectators and the progressive opening of VIP spaces. This margin provides a sufficient cushion to cover the impact of the new signing over a year, including amortisation, and would allow the forward to fit within the wage cap.

In the first pre-season briefing, Hansi Flick explained that his plan is to bring the group in on Monday, with the expectation that Cancelo and the other signings will be ready for the match against Elche.
